I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Massage Envy (Lake Grove, NY)
Interview
I submitted my resume and was contacted within a day or 2. Upon arrival I was given a clip board and was to told to fill out several pages of a questionare, this basically meant I had a to rewrite my resume, which I had already sent them. Never the less after 15 minutes I was brought into the back clinic area to be to provide a massage upon the Lead Therapist. The lead therapist who I massaged had few good words to say about his employment there as he was also struggling to make-ends-meet. I was explained that because the hourly pay is not great, tips were supposed to make up the difference, yet tips of appropriate proportions were intermittent. (Apparently massage envy clients at some locations are very frugal, tipping $4-8 per hour regardless of how hard the therapist worked)
I concluded my interview massage, waited another 5-10 minutes and then I was called into the managers office. The Manager: a young professional who managed additional locations for this one franchise owner proceeded to ask me some of the same questions I previously answered on the LMT intake form. The manager was definitely out of touch with the professionals she managed, although she was quite nice and enthusiastic. I was offered a position on the spot.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Massage Envy in Jun 2014
Interview
Filled out an application online and then went in for an interview. They moved my interview time up twice on the day of the interview and then when I got there I had to sit and wait for an hour anyway. Interview was very casual and focused on my sales experience. Had to memorize a three page sales script after that and go back in to recite it.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Massage Envy (Prescott, AZ) in May 2014
Interview
I applied online and received a call within a week. The owner called me, but seemed a little disorganized; they left a message saying that they would call back within a certain timeframe, and after that time passed I returned the call. We scheduled an interview, where I was interviewed by both the owner and the manager/assistant manager. It was longer than I expected. The interview was followed by a massage practical.
