I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Medscape in Jun 2022
Interview
I applied online and a few days later I got a call from a recruiter who arranged an interview with the hiring manager. The following interview was quite pleasant but the manager immediately said that they would possibly hire me for a lower grade (and lower paid) role since I did not have industry experience and tried to describe the role as very challenging and demanding. After the interview, I received a writing test that consisted in two writing tasks on a project proposal. I sent in the assignment on time but I NEVER HEARD BACK FROM MEDSCAPE. This is a very unprofessional and rude behavior, and a complete waste of the candidate time.

Interview
I received an email from HR inviting me to attend a first interview with the hiring manager. The interview was held by video call a few days later. The person who interviewed me was very pleasant friendly and professional.
After that I never heard Medscape again. Their HR team need to do better in this respect - it's basic courtesy to let candidates know the the outcome

I interviewed with 5 separate people, and all was going well. Then they completely downgraded the job spec, and changed it so that I was no longer a contender. Complete waste of everyone's time.
