Penguin Random House interview questions

Online application, email from recruiter 2-3 months after initial application, screening phone call with recruiter, interview with 2 editors, 2 manuscript reviews and marketing analysis, and final interview with head editor. Everyone I spoke to at the company was polite, professional, and kind.

Someone emailed me to set up an initial phone interview. It lasted about 15 minutes. I never heard back after that. I think many companies have terrible courtesy when it comes to getting back to candidates about the status of an opening--I guess Penguin is one of them.
