I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Penguin Random House (Toronto, ON) in Mar 2023
Interview
I applied online, then received an email asking to do an interview. First interview was 30 min and more of a personality assessment. Then was asked to send over writing samples. Then moved onto the second interview with the same first person + a VP. These questions were skill based. I then moved on to the third and final interview, but did no complete it as I took another job.

Question 1
Who are your favourite authors, what is the most creative idea you have executed in the past, what is your management style, how would you handle a difficult conversation with an author
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Penguin Random House (Toronto, ON) in Mar 2023
Interview
The interview process was positive. I met with two people for my first interview on MS Teams. I then had a second interview with the head of sales and a member of the sales team through MS Teams. After this, I was contacted 5 weeks later about the final decision. The two interviews were conversational. I felt I was having a conversation not just being interviewed.

Question 1
Q: How would maintain professionalism while building relationships with library wholesalers?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Penguin Random House in Feb 2023
Interview
The HR has changed my interview twice, and no feedback after the interview which was unprofessional and no respect of not replying email. Really disappointed experience with the HR as at the beginning she was quite nice and want to meet me earlier so the date has been changed twice. This experience gave a bad reputation of PRH.
