I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Penguin Random House (New York, NY) in Mar 2021
Interview
Submitted resume, HR emailed to set up time to speak. Over the next few weeks, I had 3 video interviews (all over one hour). The interviews seemed to go really well and I really enjoyed speaking to the interviewers. After about a month I checked in with HR on the status and they confirmed they were still interviewing. 4 months later, I consider myself ghosted. HR should really close the process and properly deny a candidate, particularly after having them participate in several interviews. This experience could have been very positive, even without an offer, if they simply let me know my candidacy was no longer being considered. Instead, I was left feeling disrespected and not worth a 20 second email letting me know I did not get the job.

Interview
Received a Hirevue through a link provided. Questions shown on screen with small time to answer. Quite difficult if never done online video interview. 4 questions to answer which were linked to the role. 30 seconds to prep your answer and 2-3 mins to record. Process was simple but interview was hard
