I applied online. I interviewed at Penguin Random House in Dec 2020
Interview
I was contacted shortly after applying and did a Zoom interview with the recruiter. Then I interviewed with the art directors, completed a take-home design test that was longer than I expected, and had a final interview with the art directors to discuss my design test.

Interview
They asked a few questions I has already answered twice in the application, which I though was fine because we went through them quite quickly. But then they asked if I would need visa sponsorship in the future, to which I replied I would. They automatically told me that this company would not ever be able to hire me unless my status changed. I understand the position but I had already answered this question twice before the interview and it just made me feel like they did not even read my application all the way through before contacting me.

Interview
I have been in three consecutive interview processes in the last 6 months at PRH for Publicity Assistant roles. 2 out of the 3 roles had a writing diagnostics portion/ sample tasks day in the final stage (I'm assuming for the final top two candidates since I was notified I was for the first two jobs), there can be LONG waiting times which is unfortunately very frustrating but I think could depend on who the HR recruiter is for the role, it just so happened I had the same recruiter/ HR manager for all three roles.
