Penguin Random House interview questions

I applied online and as contacted by HR. At the time of my interview, I was taken into a room with both CS managers at the time. They asked me a lot of the standard interview questions and then had me write a description of my favorite book. I then had to participate in a mock call with a customer where one of the managers played the role of the customer.

I quickly got called to an interview. My first meeting was with Human Resources. Asked very general questions. Seemed very friendly and professional. Next HR escorted me to a meeting room with two of the managers I’d potentially be working with. Look out for the redhead. She sets the tone for the entire interview. Mean Girls vibe for sure.
