I applied online. I interviewed at ServiceNow (Hyderābād)
Interview
The interviews went well or so it seemed. There was nothing very difficult to answer as a Technical Writer with more than 7 years of experience. The US folks interviewed and they were genuine. Then came an Indian for a telephonic interview whose primary objective seemed to scare the potential candidates. She began by saying how you will be on your own with absolutely no one to help. How will you deal with no help etc. However, after the brief chat with her it looked like she really did not want any person to fill up the position in India.

Question 1
How will you deal with SMEs who do not respond and how will you start documentation on a project for which there is zero guidance from anyone?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ServiceNow (San Diego, CA) in Dec 2017
Interview
A scheduler coordinates the interviews, HR is not involved with anything else. It is nice to work directly with the hiring manager. It seems like there could be some unconscious gender bias going on. I heard it is harder for women to be hired into ServiceNow's engineering.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at ServiceNow (San Diego, CA) in Oct 2017
Interview
I got this interview by going to a university career fair. Afterwards, I was contacted for a phone interview. During this phone interview, I was contacted by a hiring manager who I would be working under.
There weren't any specific technical questions involved though technical topics were brought up and discussed.
A couple of weeks after the interview I received an email saying that I wouldn't be going forward in the interview.
