Question 1
What metrics have you been weighted upon in previous roles
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Shopify (Chicago, IL)
Interview
The recruiter was over 5 minutes late to the call, very unengaged, didn't ask any follow-up questions, just the standard questions they likely need to ask, wouldn't answer any of my questions for 'confidentiality' reasons, and ended the call 5 minutes before it was scheduled to end, saying she needed to "prep for another meeting". I get I might not have been a fit, but at least pretend.

Question 1
What departments do you support? Why are you looking for a new job? Why are you interested in Shopify? A question regarding DEI recruiting.
I applied online. I interviewed at Shopify in Sep 2021
Interview
What should have been a three interview process (screen, life story, reverse life story (recruiter specific step)) was a six interview process and extremely time intensive. There was a team pivot happening which is why the extra interviews were deemed "necessary". Shopify notoriously hired for culture fit, but miss out on great candidates due to these drawn out processes.

Question 1
Shopify does what they call a life story interview, which is essentially your career life story. They are looking for certain things while you tell your story. Self awareness - Are you able to admit mistakes you made a long the way, how did you overcome/fix them? Do you come across genuine?
