Went through three seperate interviews over the course of a week. Very detailed and friendly. Interviewed with multiple mangers including service manager and general manager.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Texas Roadhouse (Camp Hill, PA) in Jan 2013
Interview
After turning in your application, the store manager will call you to set up a face to face interview before the restaurant opens. After the manager talks with you for awhile, they'll have the owner of the store or another manager come out to talk to you if you're doing well. They let you know on the spot if you got the job. If they say they'll call you, then sorry, you most likely didn't impress them.
After you get the job, they'll arrange for you to come in on another day to go over your starting paperwork with the owner.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The interview is more of a chance for the managers to see if you're a people person with customer service skills. Most of the questions are about your previous experience.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Texas Roadhouse (Downingtown, PA) in Feb 2012
Interview
Asked about experience, and why I wanted the position. The General Manager was very friendly and does not necessarily care about experience, he just wants a hard worker with a positive attitude. I was hired in person at the end of the interview and immediately asked to complete paperwork and schedule training.
