Interview
Initial phone interview with recruiter went great. The next interview was with an engineer and the person interviewing me had a thick Indian accent and I literally couldn't understand a single word. It was one of those things where I was happy not to get to the next round because there is know way I could work with someone who I didn't understand.

Interview
Interviewed in early October 2015. This was right before Jack was reinstated as CEO and a few days after the launch of Moments. The turnaround time was impressive, but I have to say, I was met with very stiff and unwelcoming staff. I have built both iOS and Android apps from the ground up and have served as a PM, so I felt qualified for the position. The first phone screen by the recruiter felt very rushed. The recruiter barely waited a second after my answers before firing off more questions. I know that there must be a general checklist of questions to go through, but I felt as if the recruiter was rushing me without registering what I was saying. A few days later, I had an interview over the phone with one of their PMs. The call came 15 minutes late, and there wasn't even an introduction. Again, the questions were fired at quick succession. "How would you design an iron for a blind person."etc. The phone call ended rather abruptly after 40min. I felt as if the PM was waiting for the exact minute to hit before cutting the call off. I was promised a follow up email regarding my candidacy, but I received no emails. I sent an email a week later curious about the process. I received no reply.
I get that the company is undergoing a bit of restructuring, but I have never experienced such unprofessionalism. Hopefully, as things settle, the process becomes better.

Interview
Half the people I was suppose to meet with wasn't there, including the hiring manager. Feels like if you didn't work for a Facebook, Google, etc before - they're really not that interested in you. Also the people who work there don't even use the platform really themselves.
