Everything went smoothly and the process was very well arranged by Zynga University Relations personal.

Question 1
Write a method that receives queen positions on a chess board and returns true if the queens are attacking one another and false otherwise.
I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Zynga (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2012
Interview
The recruiter reached out and before she was willing to set up an in-person interview she requested three writing samples About a week later the recruiter sent me a list of four people with whom I would meet with during an in-person interview two weeks later. Of the four people I was interviewing with, the hiring manager was a phone interview from the East Coast (no biggie), and one person did not make it. The two people I met with in person were very nice and confirmed that Zynga demands much of your time. One interviewer said that they worked "'news cycle' hours, and we all know that the news never sleeps." After my interview, they gave me a writing test over email to complete 'at my convenience.'
My advice for others is to go early. I've never seen such a line up to 'sign-in' at a front desk and the receptionist was more interested in her text messages than she was in signing people in. Also, the front door is kind of difficult to find - there's no signage - but it's one of the doors to the right hand side of the planter on 8th. Look for people coming out.
