      In theory the company has a positive and inclusive attitude, but unfortunately this doesn't trickle down to all departments.

      Cons

      Very inexperienced management, lack of in-depth or meaningful training, treating colleagues with different standards of respect - favoritism - not much opportunity for development, repetitive, mundane work.

      Product development on a high pace, great strong culture

      The company culture is very strong: no hierarchy, developing new products on a high pace, highly skilled and nice people, strict hiring policy. Like the Adyen formula: 1. We build to benefit all merchants (not just one) 2. We make good choices to build an ethical business and drive sustainable growth for our merchants 3. We launch fast and iterate 4. Winning is more important than ego; we work as a team - across cultures and time zones 5. We don’t hide behind email, instead we pick up the phone 6. We talk straight without being rude 7. We include different people to sharpen our ideas 8. We create our own path and won’t be slowed down by “stewards”

      Good for short term or high flyers

      Pros

      A lot of trips especially to AMS, free lunch on Friday, a lot of junk foods and flexible working hours.

      Cons

      The culture is forced onto you, not much roles for career growth, a lot of managers are freshly promoted and can barely manage their own scope well. The compensation is not very competitive as compared to outside market.
