Pros

Daily duties keep the job interesting and make the days go by quickly. Coworkers are wonderful (for the most part) and are quick to help out. Benefits are decent.

Cons

Leadership in customer service is lacking to say the least. When there is actually communication, it comes across as accusatory, condescending, and inconsistent. There's the unfortunate tendency to micromanage employees, which is odd considering all the studies that prove this is what drives good employees out. Every employee is lumped into one category- whether you're doing a good job or bad, you're going to be coached. Leadership shows up one day and is absent for the rest of the week. Leadership takes vacations constantly, yet discourages employees from using vacation days consecutively- overall the atmosphere is 'do what I say not as I do, do what I say or else...' If it wasn't for the leadership in customer service, the company and job would be great and highly recommended, but because of all this (and much more), do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. If you want to be treated like an adult, stay away from customer service here. If you're looking for growth and opportunity, look elsewhere- the leads in customer service could care less.

12 hour shift work

Pros

Clean modern work place. Safety is a priority. Vary low chance of layoff. The benefits have gone down hill but are still better than many employers in the area. Yearly bonus is nice and every one get one.

Cons

12 hour rotating shift. Under staffed. unfair pay practices. Management surrounds themselves with a day shift entourage to out vote swing shift workers and make them uncomfortable in production meetings. locally there is no chance of advancement or continuing education.

Pros

Most colleagues and managers I worked with were very good people, respectful, dedicated, listen, and cooperate. Had many opportunities to fill important roles.

Cons

Development and career progression not done well. Clash of professional cultures and self-importance expressed by some created conflict and negative working atmosphere at times. Good work was recognized but long term experience not necessarily valued.
