      Pros

      Good educational benefits, with reasonable flexibility and fine work-life balance. Interesting international and cross-functional opportunities to expand professional outlook and network.

      Cons

      It's a company in clear decline, with a business model under significant challenge, and with a corporate culture which has created an environment where bullying and inappropriate behaviours are tolerated. Poor leadership team.

      - learning about leadership & management

      Cons

      - too many Indian people. They destroy the culture of the company. Amex even promotes them to leadership positions where they are allowed to lead other people. They come from India (cheap labor) where women are not respected and have problems adapting to the western culture. Don't consider employment at American Express if you are a woman as the Indian men will do whatever it takes to ensure you won't have a career. - sexual harassment cases by non-western men are excused and the victims are asked to leave the firm while the leaders can stay.

      Pay, benefits, stock purchase and rrsp plans are good

      Cons

      This place is crazy with its expectations, everyone in the call centre has one foot out the door, They talk about work life balance but there is none. The call centre is a toxic environment.
