Pros

Working at Andersen Lab was not a great experience for me. While the company has a reputation for being technically strong, it's definitely not a place for the faint-hearted. The internal environment can be intense, and it often feels like you're constantly under pressure to prove yourself. One of the most frustrating aspects was the overwhelming number of technical interviews, even after joining the company. It felt excessive and exhausting, with multiple rounds for internal project transitions and frequent assessments that seemed redundant. The review and feedback system is another major downside. It's not very transparent and often feels more demotivating than constructive. Promotions and raises seem to depend more on politics and visibility than actual performance or contribution.

Cons

In short, if you're looking for a supportive work culture with fair evaluation and reasonable processes, Andersen might not be the best fit. It's more suited for those who thrive in high-pressure, competitive environments and don’t mind constant evaluations.

Pros

- A good company to grow as a professional if you are at the start of your career.

Cons

- Selling Junior specialists as Middle, Middle as Senior - Lower salary compared to the market, this applies much more for junior and Middle positions - The company has additional activities, and some of them are paid yearly. So if you have worked 10 months on an additional activity like mentorship, and then you leave the company they do not pay you for those 10 months. Also, they do not say that in advance - The higher your position is, the more you shall forget about work-life balance, company says - Company asks Russian/Belarusian employees to use VPN for projects where Russian or Belarusian employees are not welcomed because of the war in Ukraine - One of the darkest side is "support of Ukraine" and actions contacted by the company after the war started. Will not give too many details here not to get into the court for disclosures, but it doesn't look good at all

The payment terms are clearly communicated to those who participate in these activities. Good trainee possibilities; Mostly salaries for Middle and Senior are on the market level; Some of the clients are pretty good for experience.

Cons

Not enough transparency and confidence regarding salary growth; Style of management is post-soviet; Junior engineers are being sold to the client as Middle or Seniors

As for the comments on our management style, it may not suit everyone, but we are dedicated to creating a supportive and valued work environment for all our employees. However, we do not promote junior engineers to middle- or senior-level positions as it goes against our corporate values of transparency and integrity.
