terrible compensation in a terrible company

Zero, most of the team is currently looking for other opportunities or waiting to get their commission before leaving.

Cons

Easily the worst commission plan I have ever seen. While you make the company millions of dollars you are rewarded with pennies. The base salary is well below industry average. Instead of yearly bonuses or raises the company acts as if it is a privilege to work for them and you should thank them for being employed. Unstable senior management team; 4 bosses in 5 years. Terrible communication between senior management and employees. No career progression.

Too much top down restructuring and focus on oil

Probably great if you like oil and work in the oil side of the business.

Cons

Decisions to make wholesale changes to market coverage and reports taken by senior management without any consultation with the reporters and editors it affects. Limited opportunity for progression. Weak leadership and management puts the onus on individuals to cover for poor work from others. Regional set-up prevents efficient collaboration.
