Pros

So far i have had a great time at BAT like any corporate giant, there are always flaws with the system but you feel valued as a person and your work life balance is respected. All the bad reviews on here are probably from people that are either lazy or just are not at the level that you need to be to work here. This is a highly competitive environment with amazing upward mobility almost anywhere in the country if you are Mobil and ready for the challenge. Pros: Great PTO Great Bonus Great Work/Life Balance Competitive pay based on geographic location M-F 8-5 don't have to work holidays Upward mobility Mostly everybody is really cool Company car ( even for personal use ) Market positioning current #2 world wide

Cons

Lots of driving (I don't Mind it but some do) Healthcare and Dental coverage could be a bit better but its still very decent. Can get stressful at times lots of things going on at the same time Need to have strong interpersonal skills (not for you if you don't like to sell and talk to people because you do it all day every day) Heavy merchandising

Pros

OK package with advantages, but a basic for this type of international company.

Cons

Toxic management with one-way communication, no listening, and an incompetent manager who doesn't know what a web analyst is and who asks for a technical SEO analysis (completely out of scope for a web analyst) verbally, spontaneously in the middle of an open space, without any prior briefing. Refuses to answer essential questions (during the onboarding period) that would allow you to do your job. You should also know that, with your experience, your manager, who knows nothing about your work, won't listen to you, and not a single recommendation you've made in English, American or French companies will be implemented. Is that what we call unilateral management through chaos and the withholding of information? It may well be. My advice: only take this job until you find another one - you have 4 months to resign unilaterally without the company's agreement.
