      Work experience, exposure to global industry standards.

      Cons

      Can be toxic No clear career path Appraisals can be subjective and depends a lot on your line managers opinion of you, how much he/she likes you as well as how you and your work ethics are perceived by other managers. It's all based on perception. Hence you can pretend your way up the ladder.

      Fast learning environment, relatively competitive salary

      Cons

      1. This is an underperforming company in a declining industry. Yet the management people is delusional with unrealistic ego trying to tell you that it’s an honor to be working here and BAT is in no way responsible for creating a happy healthy work environment for you. If you can’t suck it up they’re ready to toss you away at any point. 2. Junior managers that were once GG need more proper people management training. They’re the biggest contributor to this toxic environment. 3. Have to be a boot licker to get to the top. 4. Most people don’t know what they’re doing. 5. This is a sinking ship and everyone is panicking trying to shovel other people down.
