Politics govern direction of projects, at times is counter productive and undermines the science. Science caters to marketing goals, which is good and bad. Managers tend to over stretch claims of the research for sake of making their specific group look good and boost their own careers.

Bossing, emotional pressures, useless HR, politics, head of without any kind of morality and compentences: just reading newsletters, pretend to be busy, smoking a lot, eating sweets and just discriminating all other colleagues - that was the usual day of my executive - compliance issues and a lot of more misbehaviour are included as well.
