Pros

Bayer is a recognizable brand around the world, and it had positive brand equity in the years before the company acquired Monsanto. Smart, creative, driven people who believe in the mission Trusted consumer brands (Bayer Aspirin, Aleve, Flintstones, Claritin, etc) Pharmaceutical brands that are making a difference for patience Philanthropic efforts and giving back

Cons

Acquistion of Monsanto has contributed greatly to the company's downfall Lots of restructuring in recent years to remove management levels which led to continued layoffs Change fatigue

Pros

They pay still good salaries

Cons

Monsanto drains them and the current CEO is obviously not capable to solve this problem. Just look at the stock price.
