Pros

They are generous with vacation but you basically have to use vacation to get a day off

Cons

Opinions don’t matter. When something goes wrong they use any means to find a scape goat, when they can’t they skew the numbers so rediculously so they don’t have to report to the EPA. Pay for blue collar guys does not even resemble a fraction of what the non blue collars. They think they own you saying they will “force” you in on your day off. Schedule leaves a lot to be desired

Pros

A lot of your coworkers and senior technicians will be some of the best people you meet. The work is pretty simple to wrap your head around and none of it ever feels too overwhelming no matter how hectic it can get (it can get hectic).

Cons

The upper management only look out for themselves and are never really interested in helping the lower level lab techs succeed because we are all dispensable. They even took away the requirement for a bachelor’s degree and when prompted that if people with bachelors degrees would get a raise for being overqualified their response was “no, that’s just how life works”

Woke Culture has ruined the company

Pros

Fair wages, insurance and time off

Cons

The woke culture is overbearing. It feels like you are working at CNN rather than a healthcare company. Inclusion and diversity is not very inclusive. If you are a straight white male you will be constantly portrayed as an oppressor and invariably portrayed negatively. You will not have a voice as you feel your job is at constant risk.
