Layoffs during a “strong year”

Pros

Great coworkers, benefits, location, and WFH.

Cons

Constant layoffs without notice. Employees are disposable, no matter their years of loyalty. Jobs are being outsourced to cut costs after celebrating a strong studio year.

Disloyal and dishonest

Pros

The pros are gone. Everything good about bfg was stripped away and people are fleeing.

Cons

Dishonest management lied directly to employees multiple times ahead of layoffs. Would never trust management here. Also, buncha old white dudes. Diversity doesn't live here anymore. Laid off a number of trans employees and POC, removed women from leadership team.

Pros

Great people Interesting projects Fun office & good culture (within the teams)

Cons

Terrible management. No transparency. Decisions are made and enforced without insight. Lately they've been firing a lot of long-tenured employees without explanation.
