Pros

The content being worked was amazing at one point. They need to re-group to find that niche that they had a long time ago.

Cons

If management doesn't like you, they let you go, regardless of how hard you work or how dedicated you are to your team and product.

Pros

As long as you do your job, the company treats you very well and lets you all the flexibility you need. The management is inclined to give a chance to everybody, and as soon as your manager sees that you are competent enough to grow, you can get great job opportunities. The work environment is amazing, really "Seattle laid-back", they organize events from time to time and the location is perfect (in front of the Puget Sound). The work/life balance was really good. I would highly recommend this company.

Cons

It's better to fit the "Big Fish mold" to be happy there. You can still express your ideas but you also need to follow some processes and company cultural guidelines. I guess your experience at Big Fish will depend a lot on your managers and your teams. I was lucky enough to have amazing ones, and that helped me to make my work interesting and enjoyable. Benefits are ok.

Pros

* Fun comes first--we are focused on making games that are fun and engaging. We are very customer-focused. * Flat organization--not a lot of bureaucracy. Employees aren't focused on climbing ladders--we're focused on making fun games. Smart, hard workers are easily noticed and rewarded for their passion, dedication, and good work. * Great people--I have never laughed so much at work. We have a great, open culture. I truly enjoy going to work every morning. * We get to make games and entertain people EVERY DAY!

Cons

Not a massive company with training programs--if you are less of a self-starter and need structured programs, this might not be a good fit for you. This is a company for people with entrepreneurial spirit.
