Pros

Good salary and benefits but thats it. Farm some money and leave

Cons

You will not make it if you are not willing to sell your pride and soul to those in power No WLB Your mental health will be non existent Quantity over quality Unrealistic KPIs and monthly reorgs. You are just a number in this company and can be sent to trash if management is feeling like it. They will put people who has no idea about the industry or the work they are doing as head of departments and teams. They will change things every month and then complain why team motivation is zero when everyone is having anxiety attacks to due to job insecurity.

Thanks for your feedback. Binance’s culture is indeed unique, and being #Hardcore is definitely part of our DNA. This means we are results driven, and more transparent than most organizations about opportunities for improvement. That's why we assess performance so often, but we try to ensure that the assessments are balanced and such that they include actionable insights and plans for improvement. You can't become the world's leading crypto exchange without a relentless focus on improving as individuals, as teams and as a business. Again, thanks for your feedback.

Toxic culture & Bad Management

Business Outlook

Pros

Decent pay and perks but certainly not worth it.

Cons

- Fear culture, very toxic. Management always threatens employees with firing. - Poor management, scaled up too quickly, then secretely firing people without saying they laid off anyone officially. I.e. We had to report consistently 3 people that are not performing even if we did not think there were 3 people. - Also excluded consistently from meetings for not speaking mandarin. Barrier for non mandarin speaking. Super toxic, would never recommend joining even for double your previous salary. Take the other job offer & thank me later

Thanks so much for your feedback. Part of Binance’s ethos is brutally efficient communication. This means, our leaders and teams communicate only when they need to with specific asks or information. This also means communications are targeted. This is because we want our employees to be laser focused, and not get distracted by noise. You can see more about our communications practices in CZ’s principles: https://www.binance.com/en/blog/from-cz/czs-principles-6343713009794494746 Now, this can sometimes be perceived as lack of transparency. In an 8000 employee organization, some information can fall through the cracks. But our focus is to not over-communicate and distract employees. We always urge our employees to reach out to their managers or HR reps if they feel they need more info to effectively do their jobs.
