Pros

The management team is very smart, careful and strategic. They make well-calculated, thoughtful decisions, are incredibly transparent, and act consistently with integrity. They are also fantastic, approachable people. Employees are really taken care of- great perks, fantastic career growth opportunities and the company is growing and doing incredibly well.

Cons

Company is growing fast and people work hard. They also play hard together. But it’s not a place for people who don’t want to roll up their sleeves and really produce.

Pros

1. Honest, trustworthy & incredibly talented leadership team who have a clearly defined vision, short & long term strategy and provide motivation & transparency to wider team. 2. Market leading product , it’s simply the best but they are not resting on their laurels & always improving 3. Culture: everyone works very hard in a fun, motivated & team driven way with an incredibly smart bunch of people that create a can-do environment. It’s a great culture. 4. Awesome offices (especially London!) great space, great equipment, great food, great events 5. The ability to make what you want to out of your career; you won’t be micromanaged, you will be provided the tools to learn but it’s up to you how far to take that. There’s a lot of support & guidance to work on “your personal brand” but ultimately it’s those that work hard, have talent & are hungry to succeed that get promoted & grow with the company.

Cons

Nothing out of the ordinary, it’s hard to keep up with all the new starters, but that’s not a negative!

Some growing pains but overall a good place

Pros

Smart, engaged colleagues that really care. I've personally learned a ton from many different people here. Pretty good work life balance. This has become a bit worse as the company has grown and things have become somewhat more stressful. But it's still really balanced. It's pretty rare to have to work on weekends. Most people probably average ~50 hour week. Real career growth opportunities. It's still got that startup vibe and there are more things that could use some attention than there are people. So, it's a great place to be if you want to have real responsibility and get the chance to take on big projects. Real, start-up level growth and scale. It's unusual, in my experience, to find a company of this relatively small size that has really large technological scale. That tends to mean interesting problems to work on. Also, it's pretty rare to see the kind of business growth they've seen over the last few years, which is an education in its own right.

Cons

Growing pains have been real. Some parts of the company have totally outgrown and out paced the policies necessary to keep things working smoothly. Pretty normal for a start-up though, and those problems aren't being ignored so I think it will improve. Executive team, especially the CEO, has a bit of a tendency to meddle in areas that they are no longer involved in day-to-day. Overall, I think the executive team still periodically acts like it's a smaller company than it now is. My sense is that this is getting better than it used to be though. Office location in NYC is in a crappy neighborhood, though the office itself is nice inside.
