Pros

Covered parking was nice in the Phoenix sun. Some smart, hardworking people who shared common goals.

Cons

Abominable management. People placed in positions they have no business holding. Awful, awful people with VP and C-level titles. First place I've ever worked where local HR is openly corrupt and gets a perennial free pass. Lots of bullying here, and that seems to be okay by everybody who has a voice. You bounce from one fire to the next, and there's no reason for any fires if the people 'driving' the business knew how to do exactly that. Instead, it's like watching the Keystone Kops, only in living color.

Pros

Outside if being a global company, no benefits in this team at all

Cons

My time in the CBRE team in Aberdeen was absolutely horrible! Initially everyone seemed really nice and outgoing, but after a couple if months you can expect bullying and belittling, especially if you don’t lick the boots of the right people or are more knowledgeable. I tried to put myself outside of this toxic situation and kept to myself. I actively disengaged from interacting with my supervisor, who was the main person creating the discontent within the office and with the client. I complained to the in office manager, twice to her manager and then HR, but with no change or sufficient acknowledgement. I returned back from work after a long weekend and was “let go” without warning or proper explanation. The reasons proved were poor at best and no full clarification was given, nor was there an official letter or any paperwork provided to support the dismissal. I was a good worker and did my job to the best of my ability every day even tho I was unhappy and being bullied. I believe I was let go because I was reluctant to pander to my incompetent ‘supervisor’ and she took offense to this fact, (I'm not the first person this has happened to - which speaks volumes).

Pros

Salary on-time Free breakfast Free metro shuttle.

Cons

No work life balance. Managent can fire you at any time. No job security. If you have no option then only join CBRE. Software division of CBRe does not work like fortune company. Only managers and buttering non-technical person get promoted. Senior management monopoly.
