Sweet talkers (All absolute pointless and un-necessary lies)

If CI&T acquires (or is talking about) acquiring your org - RUN. Leadership decisions are not though through and then the team is made scapegoat for all mistakes and fired for doing what they were asked to so leadership's screw ups can be covered up. Cunning and just 100% evil corporate motivations behind every single thing they do. I don't have problem with businesses prioritising profils (having worked with large MNCs); CI&T just use it as a facade to hide what I can only describe as absolutely evil and toxic culture. Just deceits and lies will take your piece of mind and drain you of any happiness. Never felt any good intentions at all for anything that was said or done.

If you are lucky enough to be put on a sustainable project, you will have the opportunity to work alongside amazing people. Outside of management, there are truly great people employed at CI&T.

Cons

There are no performance reviews, unless requested by the employee. If you want feedback on your performance, you have to dig through the rabbit hole to figure out how to ask for one. You can go months without a single “check-in”. You have to request for a specific person to be your mentor/manager/coach. They do not value their employees. Every employee is simply a number, despite all the numerous meetings to speak on culture. This is reflected in how employees are managed. There is no clear career path, growth opportunities or support to ensure you’re continuously evolving as an employee. Budget over people. Moving between “growth units” is hard, even if project work is available, due to budget. You are valuable if you make less money, unless you’re in upper management.
