      Pros

      Good product and good employees (ground level). Great potential.

      Cons

      Management suffers from a serious lack of vision, and despite paying lip service to helping students they seem to care very little for their customers. Over the past year their lack of appreciation and concern for their employees has become evident. Sales are plummeting along with morale. The company is hemorrhaging skilled and talented workers. After spending over a year preparing for a merger that many felt would never happen, they don't seem to have a backup plan prepared.

      - The culture is positive, motivating and very collaborative - Work brings great opportunities for professional development - The CEO and Executive Team are top leaders with great vision and corporate strategy - benefits are good - Everyone is so nice, it's very unusual to have such a large group of genuine, hard working individuals

      Cons

      The company is a leader in driving change in education, which is amazing and exciting to be a part of, but things move fast, so having an adaptable work style would be beneficial to employees.

      Stepford Wife type of philosophy

      They have great learning ing software for students and world class authors writing best selling textbooks.

      Cons

      They hire young, inexperienced higher ups who seen to "let go" really talented, smart, dedicated people, who are well liked by everyone, (authors, instructors, colleagues, etc). If you act like a Stepford Wife/Employee then you're doing fine. If you express any criticism challenge some of their stupid schemes or gimmicks, that's the end. You have to fake it and never complain about the direction the company is going or any of their ill-fated initiatives that just might end of grinding them to obscurity.
