      Pros

      Some of the smartest people I have ever worked with! Mostly a nice working environment. Flexible work schedule, depending on your manager. Decent benefits.

      Cons

      Horrible management! If they don't like you, watch out! You'll be heading for the unemployment office! Promotions are given to friends, not to most qualified individuals. Therefore, you end up with Admin Assistants getting promoted to management over other, more highly qualified, candidates. Pay is below average. HR is NOT there to help the employee! Only covers the backsides of the poor managers. Product development is too slow, even after adopting "Agile".

      no room for growth

      Pros

      some very nice and hard working people there. if you need your head down and do not make wakes you can get by so if you are in it for the pay and benefits its a great fit. the benefits are good and you have to flexibility for your family.

      Cons

      if you cross the wrong person you can be shut out. change is slow and getting your ideas to the rights person is difficult. if you are not in the in group and can be shut out. No neutral party that you can talk to if you have an issues. good people are let go and mediocre people hang around or get promoted.

      People leave leadership, not the company

      Pros

      I'm hard pressed to think of the positives. The products are well designed and serve a noble purpose and important markets. And, there's time to peruse the job boards.

      Cons

      Leadership is inbred and unqualified. They couldn't find shoes in a shoe box let alone a strategy to save them from bankruptcy. I've never had so many opportunities to say, "this is like a scene out of Office Space." They keep promoting people to their next level of incompetency (men to VPs and the women to middle management). Don't expect to see people of color until after 5 when the cleaning crew starts.
