Pros
Having been with National Geographic Learning | Cengage now for four years, I can say that I am most impressed with the overall culture of the organization. NGL looks out for their own, especially when it comes to advancement within the company. Granted, we want the best and most qualified, but as a company, we tend to look for those qualities amongst our own, first. NGL is collaborative and inclusive, especially with regard to project management…decision making isn’t necessarily “top-down” as it is with most companies. We provide a truly supportive environment, which is demonstrated through the relationship that I have with my manager, amongst our management team, and with all of those that are a part of the senior management team. My own team of sales consultants which I lead, sees this, and as a result has continued to be a strong, reliable and stable team. Over the last four years, I have watched this company grow, by staying in tune with the current trends in education, developing products that reflect the digital drive that must be maintained for us to be leaders in this industry. While other companies are downsizing, NGL | Cengage is increasing its value by developing key partnerships and making strategic acquisitions, showing the world that we are here for the long haul. I am most proud to be a part of this organization as we “Bring the world to the classroom, and bring the classroom to life.” We motivate students with our phenomenal and engaging print and digital content, and amazing photography, which is all brought to life by the stories and experiences shared by our world-renowned National Geographic Explorers! I am truly thankful that I get to experience all of this, every single day…working with National Geographic Learning! I look forward to many more years being a part of this phenomenal company, providing students and teachers with our unique window to the world!
