      If you like agile development, you'll probably like this

      Pros

      Committed to agile development practices, with reasonably good middle management. It is a good place to learn and grow as a developer, and there is a very good work/life balance for most teams.

      Cons

      Some teams have struggled and work 50-60 hour weeks for an extended period. Project management (known here as "delivery leads") are still struggling. Note that this is not the norm. Gale is in the process of being folded into the parent organization, and the early vibe is that it is going to get a lot more "corporate". The senior management culture was so-so on transparency and tolerance, and it appears to be getting worse.

      * poor management of employees * preferential treatment for favored employees * low salaries compared to industry standard * limited room for personal growth * upper management reluctant to place trust in employees * somewhat hostile work environment
