Pros

Fully remote Benefits to spend towards wellness Friendly co-workers

Cons

Micromanaging environment, they treat you like a child not a professional. Promoting burn out culture, lack of boundaries. Very fast retention in sales people Incredibly low pay for high effort Sales managers are not trained in sales… “Churn and burn” environment Lack of integrity and honesty Managers will lie to you about future opportunities to try to convince you to sell on field at the same rate of being remote. A severe lack of diversity.

Pros

The tech stack is comprehensive

Cons

Here is what AI told me to do after I typed my CP experience in. "It sounds like you're in a challenging work environment where leadership may not prioritize employee well-being or transparency. Here are some suggestions on how to navigate this situation": Document Everything: Keep records of conversations, promises made, and any discrepancies between what was said and what actually happened. Having a clear record can help protect yourself if any issues arise. Know Your Worth: Remember your value as an employee. Don't let manipulative tactics or inconsistent compensation practices undermine your self-esteem. If necessary, seek advice from a mentor or career coach to assess your options. Consider Legal Advice: If you believe your rights as an employee are being violated, it may be worth consulting with a legal professional to understand your options and protections under employment law. Explore External Opportunities: Given the unstable nature of your current workplace, it may be worthwhile to keep an eye out for other job opportunities where you feel valued and respected. "Ultimately, it's important to prioritize your well-being and career growth. If the situation does not improve or becomes untenable, don't hesitate to take steps to remove yourself from the toxic environment."

Waste of Time

Pros

Work-life Balance, culture, PTO, Benefits. My manager was amazing and I have no complaints.

Cons

First off, I didn't realize when I got hired that they were being sued- 95% of gyms and fitness studios that I spoke with hate CP and would never partner with them even though it is free to be on the platform. Secondly, this job is extremely territory dependent. You cannot source leads for yourself, and if you are assigned a territory that has not been updated with fresh leads, it's just about impossible to hit your quota. There were countless days where I would not reach a single person on the phone because my territory was basically all accounts that had been called hundreds of times, or businesses that no longer existed. I felt like I was not only wasting my time, but also the company's time and money. They spend a ton of money on company trips, equipment, and merchandise which is great, but why not spend more money on paying your employees a livable wage with the opportunity to succeed? The vast majority of all my coworkers at CP never hit quota because the opportunity was just not there and we would waste our time calling disconnected phone numbers. CP is not beneficial for its partners but only its users- which makes it even harder to sell if you get somehow get someone on the phone with their bogus leads. The pay is terrible- you could make more as a manager at a McDonald's. I regressed in my career during my time here and I regret taking the opportunity to work here in the first place. For some reason, it is extremely difficult to get a job at CP but do NOT believe the hype, it's definitely not worth it if you want to make money and have opportunity to succeed. Not only is the base pay laughable, but the commission is also extremely low since the company does not charge its partners to be on the platform. If you are looking for a WFH opportunity, look further.
