It's a career, if you want it to be...

Pros

I came to DigitalMarketer with absolutely zero experience in regards to marketing, especially online marketing. Digital Marketer gave me the tools, invested in my education, and most of all... really cared about my success... similar to older siblings that want to guide and help you succeed. If you have the give a damn and common sense you can gain 15+ years of normal work experience in less than 5. Your growth will never be retrained at Digital Marketer. I couldn't think of a smarter group of people to work with, not to mention the fun environment.

Cons

This stuff is ADDICTING! You can find yourself working late into the evening... but not because your managers are telling you to do so. This company moves fasts and driven individuals that align with our mission may have trouble maintaining work/life balance (but, it's always your choice :)).

Pros

I've been with DigitalMarketer for almost 3 years and in this industry longer than most. I've worked in marketing for mom and pop shops and Fortune 100 companies with over a thousand employees in the marketing department alone. I've never worked with a smarter, more passionate team in my career. If you want to hone your marketing chops --- this is the place. If you've got smart marketing ideas of your own --- this is the place to put them to work. We're a small (but growing every day) and nimble team of marketing professionals with an enormous amount of "give a damn" and a belief that we will continue to win as long as we continue to love and protect our customers.

Cons

We're a small team and that often means our employees need to "wear a lot of hats." As we grow, we're beginning to hire specialists but even the founders of the company aren't above "getting their hands dirty" by writing some emails, building a landing page or writing a blog post. If you think yourself "above" doing the actual work (Even if that just means showing your team how it's done), DM is probably not the place for you.

Career Changing Company!

Pros

If you want to work for a company that challenges you every day, supports you, celebrates the wins, encourages you with the losses and feels like a family, then you need to work for Digital Marketer. In my 25 years of my career, I can truly say that these last 4 years have been game-changing for me. I found a place where I enjoy going to work every day. I love the people that I work with and I love the opportunities that are given to me every day. This is truly rare to not only love what you do but for whom you do it for and I can say that I am very fortunate to have found DM and made it my career home.

Cons

We need more chips and salsa with the beer and wine at our weekly meetings!
