Good for a temp job NOT a career

Pros

People were easy to get along with, PTO/Benefits/401k were good. Community volunteer days were a positive thing.

Cons

Work was not challenging and became stale quickly. Low ceiling in terms of pay. Career advancement possible but politics can make it difficult. Do not consider this company a long term work place but only a short term lily pad.

Pros

PTO, decent pay, easy work

Cons

You will be expected to act like a robot. Management does not want any talk going on, even work related, and does not want employees to collaborate as a team, much less on a one-on-one basis. Management plays favorites and will let their favorites steal hours worth of time but will get on anyone else for "too many bathroom breaks". You will never feel appreciated or treated like a human at this place. Also, 80% of the employees sleep around the office regardless of whether they are married or not and cause a ton of drama/gossip on the teams.

Management in Terrible

Pros

I liked the job itself, and my team.

Cons

The management on the vertical teams is terrible. They read all of your emails and messages and use it as leverage if they ever decide they don't like you. You are punished for bringing up new ideas for process improvements (regardless if they use them or not). They have mandatory overtime for salaried employees where you are instructed to do other people's work. This way they don't have the hire the amount of employees they need to get the work done. HR will not help you if your manager decided to target you. It is not confidential and it will be used against you. Hire an employment lawyer before you decide to work here.
