Pros

Some great, very intelligent people working to try to keep Impact on a clear path to success.

Cons

Executives cannot see the benefits they have in their team. They are not people/employee focused and continue to fail to promote from within, do not hold people accountable and allow leaders to treat front-line employees with disrespect and disregard. The operations are disorganized and failing because of it. Inept leaders are put into positions because of a "buddy system". Salaries are low, promotions are minimal to nonexistent and operational issues are not being addressed, leading to client losses.

Management direction in disarray

Pros

Great peers to work with. Pay and benefits are excellent.

Cons

Attrition rate of professionals has been high for the entire time I've worked there. Atmosphere of blame - management changes direction frequently and then wonders why work is not already completed and seeks to blame individual contributors. I and my team spent easily 5-10% of our time documenting decisions and factors for CYA purposes. Dev team have had to work mandatory weekends since August 2020 with no indication of additional compensation or recognition other than attaboys.

Pros

The work itself was interesting and could be fun at times. Office job where dress was very casual, allowed to have headphones in listening to music most of the day unless I needed to be on the phone. Most of the employees on my team were fun to work with.

Cons

Management ranged from decent to absolutely terrible. There was very little room for advancement unless you were part of "the club." Attempted to bring up concerns about management and was promptly let go, even though I'd given notice about leaving the company. Very poorly managed and little care was given about toward actual promotion and development of lower employees (anyone without "supervisor" or "Manager" in their title).
