Pros

You meet a large number of people at the EPO, EC and many other institutions. If everything is fine the job is great, but that can change in an instant.

Cons

If you get stuck with a bad boss you can't do more or less anything as you are an external staff and nobody cares about what is happening with you. If your superior is fine then the work is really good.

Benefits, work environment, facilities, locations of the offices

Cons

Working atmosphere fairly negative while I was there. Also a focus on core activities, so that savings were made on the non-core roles.
