Pros

The new CEO. JR. is probably the only reason to consider working for EA.

Cons

Everything. The senior management at remote studios is made up of individuals who are incompetent, inexperienced and lack of business acumen. Nepotism runs high. If you are dating the daughter of the COO, then no one can touch you regardless of your worth. The lack of actual skill or value add, leads to managment protecting their domains and lack of collaboration or sharing. HQ is totally unaware of such issues, but the studios continue to lose smart teams because of poor management. The company refuses to change and entrusts its future to people who only know how to build dvd games. Even those rank lowest in metacritic. Not one game built at EA particularly at Vancouver has ranked above 75. That is pathetic for a company that size.

Pros

Fun space, challenging work and creative environment.

Cons

Company grows larger every year, making it harder to maintain "small team" feel.
