Pros

Great benefits and reasonable salary. Competitive workforce with some enthusiasm. Encourages its employees to learn through courses within and outside the company. Upper management has sound business strategies.

Cons

There is no effective method of measuring workforce competence. Peer evaluation is too subjective with no focus on results whatsoever. Without that measurement, middle management tends to lack responsibility for its own decisions and actions, employees motivation decreases as they don´t understand what they should do to improve on their careers. In an environment like that, prejudice from old employees regardless of their competence, tend to prevail on any discussion. Those old employees with all due respect, may lack the global perspective of our business and they are not willing to change or take risks.

Pros

Amazing Engineering, Technical and Mechanical teams. We are capable of developed the most advanced airplanes in the whole world. Private pension matching.

Cons

Leadership, in general, does not value the employes: they say they do, but the actions go in the opposite side. HR is a joke, and a bad one: there is absolutely NO carreer plan, NO support, NO development plan. They should align company and employees interests, but they only act in the first one. Salaries and benefits used to be good, market benchmark. However, they are decreasing: salaries are far beyond the correspondent in other companies for the same level of responsibility. Too many working hours: from 6 am to 6 pm, Embraer owns your life (it is not unsual to exceed these hours - email, whatsapp ,... - without any compensation). Employees are leveaing the company and neither HR or leadership are doing anything. Anything at all. Company used to be a Engineering Company leadered by Engineers. Now, it is a financial company and interests have changed.
