Pros

Salary, coffee, air-conditioning, friendly coworkers.

Cons

Authoritarian leadership style. Hypocritical two-class society: Marketing department has all freedoms and decides based on whims, the other departments have no to say. Questioning processes is not allowed. Talented, longtime employees are fired after a sick leave. HR is not neutral and devoted to higher management. Staff is intimidated, frustrated and does not dare speaking up. Hard work is not appreciated, good performance ignored but mistakes are inflated. The only reason why people stay is because of the good salaries. Summary: If you like being a number, this is a great place to work. If you like to think, stay as long as you learn something and then leave.

Pros

Better pay than other companies My team - full of hardworking and knowledgable individuals.

Cons

Leadership/Management - can be micromanaging at times and not a lot of guidance/resources being provided. Projects can change swiftly at Bayer, and most of the times there's no background context given. Work/life balance - asked to be "flexible" with schedule for last-minute requests, then criticized for having life/responsibilities outside of work. Also, these last minute requests reflect poor planning on management. Lack of team morale - seems like it's all work and not a lot of play. Burnout culture and not a lot of incentives to perform better.
