      My Most Concern - English Tutor Native Camp Employee Review

      Pros

      I give 5 stars because I love my students, mostly Japanese. they are friendly, and polite, with great respect for teachers, they are so kind and I love them so much. I stayed here for 3 years because they saw my potential and they appreciated my efforts in teaching

      Cons

      The downside is that the system. I have experienced a lot of technical problems just like yesterday, and when I tried to lay down my concerns, they asked for some proofs which are hard to provide because that is a system error. It might be the native camp website or the student's side's fault, but in the end, it's the teacher's fault. I am disappointed with this kind of student-centred approach. On behalf of my co-tutors here, we want you to make us feel that we are valued.

      Pros

      Job opportunity for people who don't have a degree. They supply videos for you to familiarize yourself with the different lessons. Their communication has a quick turnaround.

      Cons

      Videos cannot actually prepare you for doing the actual lessons. Some sort of interactive system is needed to prepare teachers better for conducting the actual lessons. Communication method on the interface is a bit confusing - I cannot see which messages are unread-even when I toggle the icon to "unread messages"

      Pros

      1. Very flexible platform 2. No minimum hours required 3. mostly polite students 4. lesson material provided

      Cons

      1. The salary is pathetic and it is a shame they are still paying that same rate since they started. 2. They recently introduced a feature where you can adjust your rate but the requirements you should meet first are almost impossible to achieve. 3. very long waiting hours, too many teachers, very few students 4. a biased rating system that punishes teachers
