      Great training! - Benefits - Room to Grow - Positive work environment - great compensation - uniform allowance - amazing point of sale system - easy to understand procedures - team training meetings and classes to help better your career - countrywide database - interoffice Q & A's through sophisticated networking between stores - employee recognition awards and incentives - open door policy with Management.

      Cons

      30 min lunches seem short - some clientele can be unruly depending on location - other than that there is no real downside to working at ESS !

      Pros

      Extra Space is a great place to work! The company is forward thinking, always growing and changing to meet the needs of the people. The pay is good. You are given incentives, monthly bonus checks, year end bonuses, that's not all. They also have killer stock options, 401k, health, dental, vision and countless discounts with area businesses. Besides the financial aspect, the company has core values that create a great place to work. With supportive leaders all over the country, there is always room for growth and development. Constantly, you can find new opportunities with in the company that allows you to move onward and upward. I wouldn't even consider a different company to spend my working career with.

      Pros

      The company has good hours and you do not have to work any nights or Sundays at most locations. The job is also not very stressful

      Cons

      You can have the absolute best sales skills in the world and you will get almost nothing for it. All the incentives are based on rentals and a tiny portion of it is revenue but the numbers are set by corporate and set high so that you never get too much of an already small amount. There is no incentive to the individual to exceed goals or to sell high levels of insurance. Health care is also very expensive, wages are okay at best, and there is zero overtime allowed.
