      Pros

      This is by far the best company that I have ever worked for. The management truly cares about the employees and their growth and development. The company is always motivating us to be the best and to do our best

      Cons

      There is not a lot of upward mobility in my position. It is a great company to start a career in my field but not a lot of long term advancement.

We try to provide opportunities for advancement and always look internally as we have new positions open. Year to date in 2014 we have promoted 274 employees to new positions! If there is not upward mobility in your position I challenge you to look for other ways you can advance your career.       Pros

      Extra Space has cultivated a positive work environment where hard work is rewarded. I love that I get recognition for what I do, and that management recognizes when the job gets difficult. The company is always looking to improve and we are on the forefront of the industry for technology, security, and employee development.

      Cons

      At this point in my career I will have to relocate to advance in position. That is unfortunate, and I may have to leave if nothing closer comes available.

      It's a solid company with good benefits. Really values its employees and spend a lot of resources to make employees feel supported.

      Cons

      They use a lot of different applications which they are working to merge in the coming year so once that happens it will not be a con.
