Extra space takes care of its own. As a company they make sure that we have access to a good health plan, disability insurance, life insurance and paid time off. Districts are very team oriented and the training is good. There is always somone that you can reach out to if you need help.

Cons

With only two or three employees per store to run the entire facility it can sometime get challenging making sure that your customers are taken care of the extra space way.

I have been working with Extra Space for almost 16 years, time flies by when you enjoy what you do and who you work for. My years of tenure with Extra Space started when we only had 106 stores, and I have to say that they have been exciting and fulfilling. The company's culture and their commitment to their employees and their customers is to be commended, their consistent focus on being the best is something to be proud of!

Cons

With over 12,000 customers within the district, there are many walks in life and customer situations that can sometimes feel overwhelming, however these can become easily handled if you are transparent and you listen and treat each situation with care and patience.
