We wanted to update you on developments within the Customer Service Team. In the last 12months Farfetch has invested heavily in this business area with new systems, compensation & benefits enhancements and training. We have built and brought global teams together and increased our headcount by more than 50%, creating new roles and opportunities for people to grow. In 2015 we also launched a new company value - 'Amaze Customers' to show our commitment to both our customers and the Customer Service Team internally.

Toxic and Failing company. Run!

Pros

Free snacks in the pantry

Cons

It's clear that this company has lost its way, and unfortunately, its employees bore the brunt of that decline. The most striking issue is the complete lack of support from leadership. It felt like we were all adrift, with no clear direction or guidance, especially as things began to unravel. The genuine care for employees seemed to evaporate, replaced by an unsettling sense that management was increasingly detached and unconcerned with our well-being. It was incredibly disheartening to witness. There are constant layoffs and Watching talented, dedicated colleagues, many of whom had poured their hearts into the company, be let go so abruptly was terrible. You couldn't help but wonder if you'd be next, and that's a truly terrible way to work. It truly felt like all the good people were gone, either pushed out or choosing to leave in search of stability and a more humane environment. The culture is very toxic and demoralizing. If you're considering a career at Farfetch, I urge you to look very closely at the current landscape. Based on my experience, it's a company that's sinking fast, and it felt like management prioritized short-term decisions over the long-term health of its people and its business.

Gone downhill under new leadership

Pros

Staff discount (though not as good as it used to be and product selection much worse) Flexible working hours - but gradual move back to office is being enforced. Increased from mandatory 2 days to 3 days in office in the space of a month

Cons

Company culture is not what it used to be under José, it’s far more cut-throat and the ‘human’ element is lacking Company in general is going downhill. Major brands no longer respect Farfetch or want to work with us All the benefits that used to make Farfetch a great place to work are constantly being rolled back Layoffs are ongoing, budget cuts are extreme and affecting all teams - despite Coupang being a multi billion dollar company No progression opportunities due to ongoing budget cuts
