Pros

- not sure, given how they approached my starting date X when to say they wouldn't allow me to start it seems they don't C level doesn't care about the people they hire.

Cons

- I was not allowed to start the job and got the news less than a month before the starting date. - Relocation to a different country was involved and that was it.

Pros

Nice benefits, good working conditions, pay is alright for an entry level position

Cons

Cost cutting measures due to poor stock performance are very strong. Office closures, return to office, cut on referral bonus, bonuses moved to stock instead of cash. Ways of working are not standardised and change weekly. Very hard to find the right person when help is needed about something. Too much middle management, most leads have less than 5 direct reports

Poor compensation, chaotic management

Pros

- CET timings so can get off early - Good projects

Cons

- Management will change the compensation structure every year. They are basically considering employee salaries as a cost (which they need to reduce). So forget incentives, even salary hikes are stopped. Existing employees are punished for staying, new employees will be hired at market rates later - Their principles of Do whats never been done, or Go Far framework is absolutely bs, and promotions are either purely political, or team specific. Merit has no bearing at all. - HR India is a screwed up dept where the only responsibility ends with ordering lunch. No real passion to benefit employees or resolve anything for them. The current person has no real experience with anything remotely HR, and is a complete suck up with an attitude problem. Anything you might want to ask the HR, has to be first explained to and later clarified clarified through Portugal, so why does the India HR exist? A go between India and a slack message we can do ourself? - An extremely negative environment where if you raise a concern - the trend has been of late "my way or the highway", and this extends all the way to the CEO.
