Working at Fastmarkets has been one of the most rewarding experiences for me. It’s a great company, driven by a CEO, Raju Daswani, who is a genuine people’s person, deeply approachable and always leading with empathy and vision. Raju’s energy and positive attitude inspires every part of the company. You can feel it in how the teams are always encouraged to collaborate and support each other. The HR team, for instance, is always approachable and genuinely willing to help; they run lots of initiatives to promote mentorship and effective communications between colleagues. The company’s commitment to diversity and inclusion is not just a box-ticking exercise; it’s embedded in the fabric of the organization. Everyone is respected and valued. I had the privilege of working alongside incredibly smart and supportive colleagues who generously shared their deep expertise in commodity markets. I learned so much! One other thing that I personally really liked, is the forward-thinking mindset that runs through the company—from embracing innovation to always aiming to do better and scaling impressively. The growth trajectory is exciting, and I’m proud to have been part of that journey. Beyond the work, I’ve made some of my best friends here and will forever cherish the fun memories we created together.
