It's a good stepping stone job

Pros

Excellent direct management, very understanding managers and editors, great work/life balance, I learned a lot as a journalist.

Cons

Insulting pay, some higher management non-existent/confusing, no real direction on promotions and pay improvements, total lack of diversity.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We are working hard to drive a truly inclusive and diverse team. We have active and engaged employee groups, including (but not limited to) Race and Faith, Women@Euromoney and LGBTQA; we hold an annual diversity week and we have also introduced Inclusion and Diversity objectives for all our senior leaders across Fastmarkets. But of course, creating an inclusive and diverse environment doesn't end there and it remains an ongoing commitment and priority for us. We also remain committed to creating an environment where people are fairly paid for the job that they do. We embarked on a plan to benchmark employee salaries because this is a very important area for us to get right. We engaged with an external company to benchmark all our roles and started to use this data to address anomalies across our teams. Benchmarking and fair pay is an activity that we chose to commence and remain committed to completing. Thank you
