      Nice people who don't have a clear idea of how to go forward.

      Pros

      People are nice, work hours and work from home policies are very flexible (maybe too flexible). Very casual atmosphere. Can work normal hours and take vacations. Week off between Christmas and New Years.

      Cons

      The company is constantly trying to find new strategies to make money and nothing really sticks. Staff is shrinking and there is a sense of doom overshadowing the place. That said, there is new US leadership which *might* be able to turn things around. Being part of a UK company a constant source of frustration since the "real" decision makers are rarely seen, and there is a feeling that the US can't make its own decisions.

      Pros

      When I was there, the studio was amazing and the lead photographers were mindful and very professional. There was very little that a budding photographer could ask for in a working and learning environment.

      Cons

      multiple publications under one roof makes for interesting positions on workflows. no one buys print anymore :(
