Pros

Unlimited holiday Some variable amount of bonus at Christmas (£1-2.5k)

Little progression Too heavy upper management No training for creatives only writers No clarity on pay or salary progression A management that blames long time staff for never offering to take a salary reduction despite themselves being on exorbitant amounts. Very underhanded when it comes to lay offs especially for the American side of the company. Constantly firing people on higher pay bands whilst bringing in new staff on base pay.

stay away from this company, they acquire brands, everyone leaves. the staff here at miserable, over worked and underpaid

Pros

They were happy to pay out bonus and always seemed to be monetary benefits

Cons

Upper management didn’t seem to have a grasp on any contacts within agencies and never listened to people that did. It was such a corporate company, there was no room for fun and expenses were basically taken away.

No room for fun is really not fun at all and certainly not something we're happy about. You spend so much of your life at work, you have to feel like there's enjoyment to be had right? Being in lockdown really got in the way of this and while we did loads of stuff online, it doesn't really come close to a bake sale or a quiz night in the local bar or kicking a ball around as part of the office football team of an evening. That's why this year, we've focussed down on getting our office and interest communities back up and running. We think it'll really help people feel a part of something more than the job. We know that feeling like your opinion and expertise is listened to is important as well, that's why we're doing our first ever engagement survey and making sure off the back of it that managers really understand the benefits of listening to their people.
